Life Groups

Life Groups are at the core of all ministries here at Eastview. From Kidstown to Youth and Young Adults and into Men’s and Women’s ministry our hope is that everyone who calls Eastview home, would find a place in a Life Group where they can be cared for, discipled and equipped to disciple others.

Life Groups are small gathers of Christ Followers who meet regularly in homes to share life, grow in spiritual maturity, and make disciples in our communities. We have Life Groups for many age ranges, and stages of life. Regardless of your background or current life situation, you are invited to come and share life with other Christ followers as we, together, seek to be transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit into the likeness of Christ.

Life Groups at Eastview exist to:

Life Groups exist first and foremost to care for one another and provide a means to share life with others in the body of Christ. At Eastview, Life Groups are the place where victories are celebrated, burdens are shared, and believers walk alongside each other towards Christ.

“We loved you so much that we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well because you had become so dear to us.”
1 Thessalonians 2:8

In Life Groups, followers of Jesus are supported and held accountable to growing as disciples of Jesus and learning what it means to be rooted and abide in Christ. Every time a group meets, there is space dedicated to be attentive to God in prayer and studying scripture.

I am the vine, you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.
John 15:5

As followers Christ within community, we will be transformed into the likeness of Christ and be naturally moved to go and make disciples in our world. Life Groups at Eastview are consistently training up new leaders to start new Life Groups and make more disciples.

The word of God kept on spreading; and the number of disciples continued to increase greatly in Jerusalem, and a great many of the priests became obedient to the faith.
Acts 6:7
