The (Tasty) Way to the Windy City

This summer many Eastview students will take part in an amazing mission trip to Chicago's inner city from June 30 - July 8. Students and leaders will be partnering with The Center for Student Mission (CSM) and will serve children and adults alike in Chicago (pictured at right). Mornings will be spent working with children - many who are homeless. Afternoons and evenings will be spent working with many relief organizations in the Chicago area such as the Greater Chicago Food Depository.

Students attending the trip will be fundraising over the next few months. You can partner with the youth to raise funds beginning January 28. There will be a table set up by the student bulletin board with baked goods for donation every Sunday. Feel free to munch on some baking with your coffee on Sunday morning!

Student workday: Do you have some odd jobs that need to be done in the next few months? The students would love to help out! Date to be announced.

Please be in prayer for the students who will be taking part in this mission experience. Pray that God will prepare their hearts and the hearts of the leaders. Pray that this will indeed be a life-changing event for Eastview students as well as those lives that are touched by the students.
