Eagle Bay Ministry Centre - Camper Sponsorship and Bible Distribution

Eagle Bay Ministry Centre is located about 200 km northwest of Winnipeg in close proximity to Lake St. Martin on 85 acres of wooded and cleared land. The main focus of ministry has been summer camp for youth. Due to the geographic location, the majority of campers (approximately 80-85%) are First Nations youth from the surrounding reserves.

This is a ministry of SCA International and the camp is a member of the Manitoba Camping Association and the Christian Camping Association. SCA exists to, " glorify God by proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ to the people of North America whose circumstances do not provide them easy or traditional access to the Church for any number of reasons, including social, emotional, physical and cultural isolation." SCA has existed in northern communities in Canada since 1907.

Eagle Bay Ministry Centre fits into our Provincial Strategic Mission Field as a Northern Manitoba ministry offering a Christ centered camping experience to many children and youth. In addition, Eastview is able to give each camper a NrIV New Testament  to take home.
