It was a good morning Monday, September 15, as the Hampstead School Starfish Breakfast Club started up without a glitch. More than 20 children, most of them familiar faces, showed up on this first day of the HSSBC.

Under the leadership of Donna Koslowsky, willing and able Kingdom ambassador team volunteers cheerfully arrived ready to serve just before 8:00am; the children came in soon after. It was encouraging to witness the children joyfully walk in, smiling around the tables like an extended family fellowshipping after being away from each other for a time.

Said Donna, "The first day eased us into the breakfast program with 20 kids, but everyday since we've had 40 plus children show up. The kids in this program are from every continent in this world. We have kids from South America, Africa, India, Asia and more. Some kids have only recently arrived to Canada. There is an additional ministry here with the parents of these kids who are trying to learn the language and life in Canada."
