VISION

The Jr. High Ministry actively moves grade 7-9 students to experience Jesus Christ by providing an atmosphere in which authentic relationships can form between students and God, students and their peers and students and their leaders. We desire to train our students to be ministers, influencing and impacting their friends, families and schools for Jesus Christ.

The Jr. High Ministry creates opportunities for you to establish relationships, experience Jesus, and equip yourself for service through ongoing services, and classes, social outings, special events and retreats that give you a sense of community among Eastview's Jr. High students and leaders.

Social: Big Group & Drop In Nights

Thursday evenings 7-9:30pm

Big Group Events and Drop In Nights take place on Thursdays. This is a fun time of games and hanging out or off-site activities.

Liquidfire & Small Groups:

Thursday evenings 7-9:30 pm

One Thursday of each month is Liquidfire, which is a Christ-centred worship service targeted at Jr. High students. These services incorporate teaching, music, drama and community.

A more personal extension of Liquidfire happens in Small Groups, where they discuss life, their experiences in Liquidfire and pray together. Small Group leaders contact students to let them know about upcoming events, and to build stronger relationships.

Life Development Classes:

Sunday morning 9:30am

Life Development classes for Jr. High students happen Sunday mornings in the Fireside room.  

Special Events: throughout the year

During the year, Jr High Ministry has a variety of Special Events planned. Events ranging from weekend retreats, lock ins, Christmas parties, canoe trips and service projects.
