Annual Business Meeting Report (Sept. 2009)
The nearly 100 attendees at this year’s Annual Business Meeting, held Sunday, September 27, received a well-rounded presentation of vision, heart, and prayer as they heard from staff members Lyle Morris and Cory Bell, both newly appointed into our Student Ministry. Each of them shared their heart for serving Junior and Senior High students and helping them develop their Christian walks.
This was followed by a passionately delivered Vision Casting Statement from Pastor Delbert on plans for Eastview moving forward (Check out Pastor Delbert’s presentation below).
Lastly, Eastview’s treasurer, Erika Fenske, provided a concise and succinct financial report for both the 2008-2009 fiscal year as well as presentation of the 2009-2010 budget outline. Copies of the reports may be accessed at both the information desk or directly from the Eastview Website.
The meeting was then closed in a time of corporate prayer.
The actual voting for Eastview’s Annual Business Meeting was rescheduled to October 4th immediately following the Sunday morning services in order to ensure that quorum is achieved. Members will be asked to stay after both services and cast their vote for acceptance of a new council moderator and approval of the proposed 2009/10 ministry budget.
