Photo Contest Results, Winners!

To be perfectly honest, we didn’t know what to expect when we launched this, the inaugural Eastview Link Photo Contest.

Eastviewers, you blew us away with the quantity and quality of the photos you submitted. More than 20 photographers entered a total of 57 beautiful pictures, all shedding a slightly different light on the theme of “creation.”

Thank you, Eastview, for making our inaugural photo contest a fantastic success. You made it very tough on our judges.

Speaking of whom, special thanks to Amy Friesen, Pastor Delbert Enns, and Tim Toews (all terrific photographers/artists in their own rights) for helping choose the cream of a fantastic crop.

Without further ado, the winners:

The grand prize winner, and the recipient of a $50 “But Is It Art” Framing Gallery gift certificate, is Lori Fenn for “Sunrise View”. Second prize and a $30 gift certificate goes to Bob Heinrichs for “Sunrise with the Birds”, and the third prize and a $20 gift certificate goes to Melanie Wiebe for “Water Lily”. Thanks to all who entered.
