Developing a serving heart

One of the hallmarks of a biblically functioning community is one in which people serve one another, society in general and the Lord. At Eastview, we believe that there is an inherent design placed within each of us that finds satisfaction, fulfillment and meaning to our lives as we serve. (Philippians 2:3-4,7)

To that end, there are many avenues for involvement. Most ministries have designed 'first serve' opportunities where you can get a taste of what serving in that particular ministry is like without obligation. Additionally there are regular invitations made through the church bulletin and "ministry fairs" where you can get an overview of all the options.

At Eastview, we also believe that each person, as they chose to become a follower of Christ, is uniquely gifted by the Holy Spirit for the purpose of building up the body and furthering the ministry of the local church. We offer periodic classes where these gifts can be discovered, developed and deployed. (1 Peter 4:10)

Volunteers are always needed at Eastview. Whether it's to keep regular programs going, support a special event, serve in any of the many Eastview ministries, or help make Sunday Worship Service happen every week; Eastview is calling you to share your gifts within our community.
