Joining a Life Group

Getting connected

At Eastview we believe that life change happens best in the context where you can be known authentically and where you share your spiritual journey with others. A small, caring group is often one of the best places to do that. It's here that you can develop rich relationships and build meaning into your life through mutual sharing and support.

Life Groups, the foundation of ministry at Eastview, is where this happens and is designed to allow community to be built whenever people gather over common interests, friendships, needs, hobbies, projects, goals, study... well, you get the picture! To do this Life Groups come in 3 flavourful varieties providing you with the opportunity to love, learn, serve, reach out, and grow.

Care Groups are small, mini-communities of people from within the greater Eastview community who desire to become fully committed followers of Jesus Christ. Care Groups gather to demonstrate God's love, apply God's word, participate in effective service, and support one another's efforts to extend Christian faith to the community abroad.

Interest Groups gather over a common interest and draw close as they pursue the same goals.

Serving Groups join hands and joyfully take on tasks in and outside the church.

Typically, they are small, mini-communities of people ( 6-20 people) from within the greater Eastview community and offer the opportunity to get connected socially with other people who can know you by more than just your name. Friends who will rally around you in the tough times and joyously celebrate your great moments - and you with them.

There are a wide range of LIFE GROUPS available providing you with the opportunity to explore your interests, share common concerns, help one another, love, learn, laugh, serve, reach out, and grow. The great variety enables you to find a place that's well suited to your life situation.

Whether you want to investigate Christianity in a safe environment, grow with other new Christians, serve with people who have similar talents and interests or get to know other couples, there's a Life Group with an open chair waiting for you.
