Giving

For the support of Christ's Body, the Church

At Eastview, we recognize that God instituted the practice of giving or tithing for a number of reasons; first and foremost as an act of worship to Him as the supplier of all that we have.

It is also an act of faith and discipline for His followers to give back to Him from the first of what they receive and in proportion to what they receive. God lays out His standard as being 10% of our income. (Leviticus 27:30)

It was God's intention that giving in this fashion would also supply His church with the necessary resource not only to function but also to make a practical and spiritual difference in the world. (1 Corinthians 16:1-2)

Members and regular attendees of Eastview Community are taught and encouraged to give accordingly as God has blessed them.
