Since we've all taken our turn being first-time guests at Eastview, we know what it's like to have tons of questions, and to not be uncertain of whom to ask.
Hopefully we've anticipated and provided helpful responses to some of your questions in our list of FAQs below. If not, you're more than welcome to contact us (contact information is below).
Eastview Community's beginnings stemmed from a desire to be a community church and to reach out to spiritually-seeking people in Winnipeg and its surrounding areas. We do this through drama, contemporary music, and life-relevant messages.
Eastview began meeting in the fall of 1990 in a concert auditorium called Jubilee place, and has since grown from 150 people to more than 800 weekly attendees.
Eastview adheres to a unique philosophy of ministry. On weekends, drama, multi-media, contemporary music and practical messages are used to present the timeless truths of Scripture at an introductory-level, which is easily understood by non-churched people.
The mid-week service is designed for those who wish to develop their relationship with Christ through worship, communion, and in-depth Biblical teaching. Further, Eastview has engendered an extensive network of small groups that meet in homes throughout the community to foster deeper relationships, and support one another's spiritual growth.
Eastview moved into its facility at 3500 DeVries Avenue in 1993, which is located on the border of Winnipeg's fast-growing northeast area, conveniently at the 101 Perimeter Highway.
Weekend Worship Service at Eastview typically lasts an hour. Two identical Sunday Worship Services run back-to-back at Eastview each week:
Kids Cove, which is Eastview's ministry to children from age 4 months to grade 6, runs conveniently during both services.

At Eastview, you can rest assured that you will never be put on the spot, singled-out, or embarrassed.
You don't have to sign anything, or register your attendance in any way (unless you place your child in our children's ministry, which is in the best interest of the safety and security of your children).
Eastview offers ministries for children from ages 4 months to grade 6.
Your children are given an exciting, quality experience in both the 9:30 AM and 11:15 AM services. This allows you to maximize your own experience at Eastview while your child receives the highest level of care, attention, and teaching.
Though non-traditional in style, Eastview is deeply committed to the eternal truths of the Christian faith.
Our mission is equally clear: to lead people to Christ and on to maturity in Him.
What truly defines a church is not simply its doctrine, but its values. Eastview's values are simple, but like any set of values, they shape who we are. Learn more about Eastview's value system and some Biblical verses that support it.
